We love our hospital. We work hard to make it the best hospital in the state of Utah and the best hospital in the Taylorsville, Salt Lake City area. Proving you are the best is difficult and we know we really cannot do that especially in a city of wonderful veterinary hospitals; however, we can say that we are one of only ten Salt Lake City veterinary hospitals that has achieved accredited status with the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). That means you can take comfort that we are practicing quality medicine as determined by detailed examinations of our medical practices, business practices, our staff, our equipment, and our facilities. It means that we practice modern pain management and that our facilities are extraordinarily clean. It means we are always evaluating to see what is working and what needs improvement. It means that we do surgery with the latest medical equipment. It means we are always striving to be the best. AAHA is always testing us - which is what we want. They will even call us, pretend to be a client, and quiz our staff to see how good they are. We love meeting the challenges of always being on our toes - we have to be - we are accredited. They really put us through the wringer to make sure we are in the top. If we are not, they take away our accreditation. We have been continually accredited since 1996 - it is hard work - but it is worth it for us to know that we are practicing the best care available and among the top veterinary facilities in the nation.
